As a substitute teacher and volunteer, I guided pre-school to high school youth in various activities. In addition as an adjunct professor, I interacted with young adults in their studies as well as in seeking a career path. My training includes Red Rover Readers (a program concentrating on teaching children the humane treatment of animals) and certification as a Youth, Parent, Family Life Coach through World Coach Institute.
My goal in coaching is to support positive parenting through addressing obstacles and de-stressing parents, re-energizing them in their relationships with their children. I coach individuals on a 1-1 basis via Zoom focusing on individual concerns. In addition, I coach groups of 5 to 10 participants via Zoom or in person regarding parenting styles and their relationships with their children.
Individual coaching sessions are a great way to begin. Sessions are 45 minutes in length at least one per month with once a week recommended to make progress.
